Where are all the freakin' off shoulder dresses?! I ideally wanted this style from Wed2b to save money but doesn't look like that is going to happen. I don't think that I want fitted/mermaid style anymore... this is the sort of thing I am after:

I have bought a strapless soft sweetheart neckline and the shop seamstress is going to add off the shoulder straps for me as I did not want a strapless dress. So maybe that's an option for you?

Ooh good idea! How much will the straps cost you please?

Wed2b do necklaces and straps that you could look at in the shop and ask the seamstress to sew on for you.

You can buy any sweetheart dress and have straps added - that's what I'm doing. My dress is a Maggie Sottero and the straps would be an extra £180, but they lost one - so they threw one strap in for free, and my seamstress is hopefully going to make another from my alterations offcuts, or you can buy them from ebay or Wed2B and have them added

I haven't had a quote yet as not started fittings yet due to my wedding being April next year. However the shop said they don't charge more than £200 for everything and my dress does not need taking up or taking in so I'm hoping no more than £100 as its just putting some straps on rather than majorly altering the dress

You can also easily convert any strapless dress to an off-the-shoulder design by simply slipping a lace topper (jacket) over. The nice thing about this is, you can take it off later if you wish and have basically two different looks! There are loads of options on Etsy.

This one is less than £100:

I quite like the Hitched database - you can filter by shape (Ballgown) and neckline (Off the shoulder)

https://www.hitched.co.uk/wedding-dresses/ballgown/off-the-shoulder/

(You can always add petticoats if you want to go MASSIVE!)

There are plenty more too
